Your commitment to us

When you confirm your purchase, you are accepting that these terms and conditions form the basis of any contract between Sacrewell Ltd/WSAT (The William Scott Abbott Trust) and yourself.

No contract exists between you and Sacrewell/WSAT for the sale of any tickets until we have received and accepted your order and received payment in full.  Once cleared funds are received, there is a binding contract between us.

As stated in the Government Guidelines, on entrance to Sacrewell Farm we would very much appreciate if visitors would adhere to the following in supporting us to give you a great visitor experience.

  • Tickets are non-refundable.
  • Wash hands regularly, particularly after contact with animals or paddock fencing (handwash facilities are located around the farm site).
  • Feeding of the animals is prohibited.
  • Parents and Guardians are responsible for their children and children must be supervised at all times.
  • No smoking on site.
  • Alcohol must not be brought onto the site. Alcohol may be available for purchase in the courtyard bar during opening times (which may vary). Any alcohol purchased on site must only be consumed in the courtyard.
  • Dogs must be kept on a lead and are not permitted in the Playbarn.
  • We may need to close certain areas on site due to health and safety, this includes outdoor areas (due to high winds, high water etc) and indoor areas due to deep cleaning and annual safety checks in the Playbarn. Please comply with any requests by Sacrewell/WSAT staff and do not enter areas where access has been restricted by fences, chains, signs or other means.
  • There are natural areas across our site. Please note that water may be deep, rocks, paths and steps may be slippery and surfaces may be uneven, please closely supervise your children in these areas and wear suitable footwear.
  • Please note that this an outdoor site so some areas may be muddy, please wear appropriate footwear.
  • Our 18th century watermill has low ceilings and steep steps, take extra care. Children must always be under adult supervision.
  • At peak times, the restricted capacity will be available on a first-come-first-served basis, with the possibility that not all guests will have the opportunity to play.

Prices

The description and price of tickets you order will be shown on Sacrewell’s online box office at the time you place your order.  Prices are in UK Sterling and inclusive of any applicable taxes. Once you have paid, we will not increase the price of your tickets.

Prices displayed on the site are subject to change without notice.  We accept most major credit and debit cards in partnership with our payment gateway. All items are subject to availability.

Online Security

To ensure that your online shopping experience is secure, your credit / debit card details will be encrypted on a secure server to minimize the possibility of someone being able to read them as they are sent over the Internet.

 

Data Protection

The information taken at time of booking is required to be collected for the purposes of processing your reservation with us. These terms should be read in conjunction with our privacy policy, which is available at https://www.sacrewell.org.uk/privacy-policy and which sets out the terms on which we process any personal data we collect from you or that you provide to us. By making a booking, you consent to such processing and you warrant that all data provided by you is accurate.

 

Limitation of Liability

Sacrewell/WSAT’s total liability for in contract, tort (including negligence or breach of statutory duty), misrepresentation, restitution or otherwise, arising in connection with the performance or contemplated performance of this agreement shall be limited to the price paid for the goods/services.

The limitation on any exclusion from liability contained in these conditions shall be subject to the provisions of second 2(1) of the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977.

Sacrewell/WSAT will not be liable in any amount for failure to perform any obligation under this agreement if such failure is caused by the occurrence of any unseen event beyond its reasonable control including without limitation Internet and Communication outages, fire, flood, war or act of God.

Neither Sacrewell Ltd, The William Scott Abbott Trust nor its trustees or employees accept any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to visitors, property, vehicles and their contents and accessories or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. This does not affect your Statutory rights.

 

Severance

If any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck out and the remaining provisions shall remain in force.

 

Online Booking

Once purchased on-line tickets may not be used in conjunction with any other offer. No ticket may be resold.  Please ensure you check the timings given in your confirmation email as late arrival may mean that the goods/services you have purchased cannot be provided in full.

Any discounts or offers on-line are available for limited quantities and periods only and shall not be available on bookings made by phone or in person.
