World War Two for Schools: Dig For Victory at Sacrewell
Sacrewell Farm played an important role during World War Two. The farmhouse hosted evacuees, the Women's Land Army, supporting the community and the war effort. Your class can experience life during wartime with our previsit resources and a hands-on day at the farm. They will help grow food in the market garden, cook a wartime meal with rations and visit our 1940's kitchen and living room, bringing history to life.
Reserve your school visit here for FREE, we will only invoice for the students attending the trip on the day. Students are priced at £11(September-February) / £13 (March-July) inc VAT per person and include:
- All school and support staff free of charge
- A indoor base to leave belongings and have lunch
- Access to the farm, gardens, historic water mill, indoor and outdoor play areas for the day
-Free teacher pre-trip planning visit
-For groups over 70 students please contact us directly at learning@sacrewell.org.uk

Our Education Team are happy to work with schools to ensure their day fits their requirements. For further information please email learning @sacrewell.org.uk
